What does Medigap cover?

Medicap covers out-of-pocket costs for Medicare-covered services. As a result, you will be responsible for paying all out-of-pocket expenses that Original Medicare won't cover for covered medical or hospital care.

What does Medigap cover?

‍In 2022, the Part A deductible will be $1,556, and you won't have to pay coinsurance for the first 60 days of your hospital stay. For every day after day 90, you'll pay $778 a day, if your hospital stay exceeds 60 days.

In summary, Medigap helps cover the following Medicare-approved expenses:

Medicare Part A coinsurance and hospital fees
Medicare Part A hospice coinsurance or copayment costs
Medicare Part A deductible
Medicare Part B coinsurance or copayment costs
